Participating in a local event is a good way to contribute to our community and meet your neighbors. 99.9 FM The Zoo of Randleman, NC, is proud to showcase events of note for all members of our area.

10th Annual Father Daughter Dance

The dance takes place on saturday March 2nd and this years theme is Under The Sea.
Dinner, refreshments, games, and other entertainment will be provided.
Registration is available now till February 22nd.

The 71st Annual Asheboro Kiwanis Pancake Day

The 71st Annual Asheboro Kiwanis Pancake Day will take place on Tuesday, March 19th from 7:00am until 8:00pm
(Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) at the National Guard Armory (1430 South Fayetteville Street) in Asheboro.
Featuring all you can eat pancakes with sausage, coffee, milk, or juice all for $7.

Bingo fun session

Beulahland Worship Center just off Old Liberty Road, will host a Bingo fun session on Saturday,
March 23rd from 6am until 8am. It's a great opportunity to be social, have fellowship & fun!

Meals On Wheels Drivers Needed

The Randolph County Senior Adults Association is in need of 'Meals on Wheels' Delivery Drivers
(and substitute drivers) in the Asheboro and Ulah areas! Delivery takes approximately an hour.

City of Asheboro Urgent Repair Program for Homeowners

Applications available online at or at City Hall.
The 2018 Urgent repair program will provide funds for some Asheboro residents,
especially the elderly or disabled who have damage to their homes which need repair.

Donations for Guy B. Teachey Elemantary School

Donations are needed at Guy B. Teachey Elementary School for Teachey's new Young Mens Club.
Collecting gently used suits for boys ages 5 to 12. Drop offs can be made at the elemantary school 294 Newbern Ave.

Habitat For Humanity Lip Synic

Habitat is seeking to discover the best Lip Sync individual, or group (Business, church, school, team, etc...)
in the county. Challenge your friends or family – be creative and have fun!! Email them your submission too

Sunset Support Group

If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, support is available!
Please join the Sunset Support Group on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6pm-7:30pm
at Hospice of Randolph County.
416 Vision Drive In Asheboro. The meetings are FREE and open to the public.
